Brand Transition & Community Launch Campaign for BMB Bakery
A Collaborative Brand Launch by Octiv8From Concept to Community is a collaborative branding and direct-mail campaign developed through our student design firm, Octiv8. Partnering with local business BMB Creations, we helped introduce their new brand identity as BMB Bakery and promote their downtown Conway location through a strategically designed coupon mailer. The project involved identity refinement, layout systems, print production mockups, and real-world client collaboration. This work demonstrates my ability to function within a design team while contributing to cohesive branding and tangible community impact.

Our team at Octiv8 approached the mailer as a fully collaborative effort, where each of us contributed ideas, feedback, and design decisions to shape the final outcome. We worked together to refine the BMB Bakery identity, experimenting with typography, layout systems, and visual hierarchy, while continuously building off each other’s concepts to create something cohesive and effective. Through open communication and shared problem-solving, we were able to combine our individual strengths into one unified design, resulting in a mailer that not only promotes the business but also reflects strong teamwork and thoughtful, community-centered design.

Creating additional mockups for this project allowed us to move beyond flat designs and see how the mailer/brand labels would function in a real-world context, giving us a more strategic understanding of scale, layout, and user interaction. By visualizing the piece as a tangible object, we were able to refine details like hierarchy, readability, and overall composition to ensure it would be both eye-catching and effective in communicating key information. These mockups ultimately helped us make more informed design decisions, resulting in a final product that feels polished, intentional, and ready for real community distribution.
